I’m beyond excited to announce the release of the first quarterly print edition of The Perch! This 24-page edition, Trouble in the Borderlands, contains a collection of signature essays assessing the shift in Eurasia’s center of strategic mass away from Russia and towards smaller regional powers like Poland and Turkey as a result of the ongoing armed conflict in Ukraine. Printed editions will be available later this month in limited numbers.

As The Perch continues to grow, it’s exciting to explore what other forms of multimedia will help us to better pursue our mission of bringing well-informed, quality insight on contemporary international affairs with a “big-picture” and historically-conscious perspective. Going forward into 2026, anticipate the release of print editions on a quarterly basis roughly four times a year. Of course, reader feedback and insight will play an important role in determining how to adjust this process as it plays out.
Since its inception last June, The Perch has garnered tens of thousands of global views and spread its readership across three continents. Your continued support is deeply valued, and I can’t wait for all that is to come for this publication in 2026!
